It started in the hospital with my youngest, age 4, getting a bone marrow biopsy. He was severely anemic and blood tests showed one of his white blood cell types was non-existent. Around noon we had a diagnosis: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. 
His prognosis is good, and though the first month was rough, they did get him into remission. I wanted to do something fun and special for Veteran's Day, so I used This Style from Girly Do's with red and white ribbon. I wish I had a big blue bow to put in that pony tail tho. Thanks Jenn for the awesome inspiration!
