valentines day

First, I'm not a fan of Valentine's Day in general, because I feel like it should be "hallmark and flower companies Black friday" But, I absolutely Loooove to make fun hairdos with hearts. This past week, I got this incredible heart hairstyle in my head, and was so excited to do it in Angels hair. Then she got Croup. Yep. So I thought at least I could do a regular heart tutorial, but my camera is at the hospital with my son, whom I was not allowed to be with because I had stomach flu, as well as 3 other children with fevers. So finally, stomach flu and all, I determined to make a video tutorial using Angel's Ipod for a camera. It went great. Only problem is, I can't get the video to upload to my blog. Anyone know how to do that? Do you have to put it on youtube first & then embed it?
So to make a short story long, no heart tutorial, which is just lame because its a fun hairstyle to do ANY time of year. It's the one that most kids request at princess birthday parties. I promise, when I figure out the video thing, you will have a heart braid tutorial here, to show you exactly how I make those hearts without a break in the "v" part. Until then, you can celebrate with me that finally everyone in my house is well, and my baby is coming home from the hospital after over a week without his mama. Fortunately, he was perfectly happy to have grandma there for a substitute (I Loooove her!)
