I did it! Yay for hearts!

So thanks to an awesome reader, Anna, I figured this video thing out. So here is the video tutorial on the "dreamweaver" heart braid (I only call it that cause I haven't seen it done this way anywhere else, but that doesn't mean someone else hasn't done it yet *wink*)
Only thing is, I couldn't figure out how to "splice" it all together, so there's 3 parts:
Oh, and yes, I'm wearin comfy clothes cause I had stomach flu at the time I made this. But it's not like I could let her go to her Valentines party at school without her hair in a heart, right? So here's part 1:
I forgot to mention here that the left section of that little"v" part has been wetted and twisted over to the right side of the head and held in place temporarily with that tiny green clip (on the right). Also, I did 3 or 4 "stitches" or "plaits" before I started adding hair in from the front. That way, when I finished the left side of the braid, I was able to carefully take that twisted piece out of the green clip and, keeping it twisted, it slid under the left braid easily. The important thing is to have your 2nd side cross over the first, not under. Just watch:
part2:
And what does it turn out like?
Part 3:

Hopefully that explains it well. Getting the parts just right in the beginning, and crossing those braids in the top "v" is the crucial part. After that, it's basically making 2 dutch braids, with a bit of curve to them:) You definitely don't have to start with such tiny strands of hair, either. It's just that pippy has very thin hair, so I had to adjust to make it work for her. If I did this on angel, the beginning parts (the "v") would be as thick as the end parts on pippy:) I did a variation of this last year on Angel (so you can see the difference), and the written explanation and pics can be found Here. You'll notice I didn't need to use a twist or clip to hold the one side down because Angel's hair is so long, it just stays where I put it. Also, with a full-head heart braid, I try to pul the inside strands from a "middle Point" right where the "v's" point is so that I don't get extra lines that look like "parts". I hope you're able to practice this because once you get it down, it takes no longer than 2 dutch braids, so can be done for any day of the week:)
