Spooky do's- part1

I know I promised these a week ago, but such is life, right?
Okay, so today's is the candy corn, or, it started out that way and became more of a colorful eiffel tower (still not a bad thing in my book, since I collect eiffel towers) So, to start this hair do, you want a half up half down pony:
(See the Paris sign in the background? yah, I'm a bit obsessed)

Next, divide the pony tail into two sections and braid each:

Now, here is where in hind-sight it would have been good to just divide that bottom section into two piggies and add the braids to them.  Instead, I tried making a triangle out of the braids and remaining hair underneath. Then I kind of kept it all together with clippies:

Then I grabbed my plastic needle, white, orange, and yellow ribbons, and started sewing in some color:

Just not the way I imagined it, but I guess when you think up a style, it doesnt always turn out perfect the first go round, right?

Unlike this one (sneak peak for tomorrow) that turned out just the way I wanted it:

Come back tomorrow to see how we did this awesome spiderweb!

  1. I think you did a great job! We did a candy corn as well that we'll be posting in a couple days. It's a bit different but I like how you used the ribbon in yours!
